The Lancaster Grand had a website that was over ten years old and lacked the functionality and usability expected by their customers. They were in the process of finalising the design of a new foyer for the theatre and preparing to raise the funds needed to build it. They decided they needed a new website that was much easier to use (for both themselves and their customers) in order to support show bookings and their fund raising drive.
A new website design concepts was produced together with a design partner and this was developed into a full website.
A significant requirement for the project was to integrate the show listings with a third party ticket office solution (offered by a software company that serves theatres). Every day the website synchronises with the ticketing office software in order to keep show listings up to date.
Escape Campus in Lancaster is a very well-regarded student housing agent providing accommodation across the city to students who come to study at Lancaster University and The University of Cumbria. Escape Campus is actually approved by Lancaster University Homes which means they meet (an exceed) the high standards that the university requires of property owners and managers.
When we started working with Escape Campus the already had a website which we helpded the update and maintain until their business growth required a new website which could do a great deal more. We designed and developed a new bespoke website to meet their business and their students' needs. The new website enables Escape Campus to show properties they have available, generate enquiries about the properties, book viewings, manage property availability and more.
As Escape Campus grows and develops, Webny will support them with web design, development and online marketing expertise.
Amy Jo Clough is a singer / songwriter in Lancaster as well as an actress, publisher, and entrepreneur. As well as performing and writing music as Amy Jo, she also manages and edits an online publication called Making Miss Mogul. Amy Jo was referred to us by an existing Webny client and we were able to work with her existing branding designer to develop websites for both her Amy Jo Official website (where she posts updates, her music videos, news and social media) and also her Making Miss Mogul website where she releases her own quarterly digital application helping support other young people in the entertainment industry.
Amy easily manages both of her websites herself thanks to an efficient content managements system that also integrates with her various social media platforms.
